Guide: Running the Kurzick Supply quest
Ok, I've read in a couple of places that this quest is very hard to run because.. well, its in the echovald forest, and it's not very nice there.
However, I've been doing this run for a week or two now, and it's insanely fast and easy (about 3-4 mins per run), and the quickest way I know of to earn kurzick faction.
This screeny contains most of what you need to know, such as my preferred route, the build (which is pretty much a droknars running build, because K.D's, conditions and hexes are so common here.)
Equipment: Doesnt matter, as youll be holding a large box for the whole run.
How to start it: Go directly outside House zu Heltzer, you can do it with or without hench, doesnt really matter, though I find it easier without because i can be sneaky and have less lag. The quest simply requires you to run right to the portal of Lutgardis Conservatory, and tlak to the dude there. This quest causes Luxon popups to be activated.
Dangers:
1. Mantid Dreamweavers - They use crippling anguish, easy to avoid if y'know how (however if youre with hench, theyll aggro the mantids and absorb all the natsiness); the mantids are only at the very start of the run.
2. Luxon Elementalists (spawned by the quest youre doing) - Mind Freeze pwns you.
3. Traps - Dredge Gardeners, and ranger Wardens both use traps to cripple, so in a mob with these, avoid the area around where the ranger was stood.
4. Oni's - only one spawn point anywhere near the run, but sometimes it can be directly on the path. They are not pleasant.
5. Wardens - the warriors use "non shall pass", so if youre running through a mob of them, decide whether youll need to activate balanced stance. The mesmers use shatter enchant too, so dont expect to pre-breeze and be fine.
6. Kirins - these guys hang out with wardens, and their use of barbs can get highly annoying, so remove it when youre clear of the mob.
I hope this hasnt been previously posted, because i've delayed my dinner by several minutes to write this. Any questions will be welcome, and at some point I might make a more detailed map of it with enemy locations on.
UPDATE: and here is that map, which took me 9 days to get round to making..

Mending and Breeze? LOL
Holy Veil is the only monk skill needed. And even that is optional if you know how to watch your agro circle. If you're in a speed buff you're out of cast range with Veil on before they ever get you snared.
13 strength, 14 tactics.
Charge, Balanced, Sprint, I Will Survive, Shields Up, Purge Conditions (in case you hit some traps or get poisoned, use IWS first for the regen), Holy Veil and Heal Sig.
Done correctly the run takes under 2 minutes.

When did my build use mending? i'm sorry but if youre going to flame my skill set, look at the skill set first.

plz make a video of u taking it under 2 minutes.. im sceptical that u can run it that fast..
i dunno why u use balanced stance tbh. shields up doesnt look much useful to me either
i just use charge sprint endure pain, i will survive, purge conditions, smite hex and holy veil
ive not thought breeze would be necessary, but then again, everyone runs differently ^^. the only skills u really do need in my opinion are sprint charge (bulls charge instead of charge works too) and holy veil.. sometimes im too lazy to change all skills, so this is the bare minimum of around 95% runs without dying
Thanks for guide Haggard btw

My method is bringing the henchies, fighting all the way to the last 2-3 groups then run ... I can't run pass the dreamweavers at least not alone, and I can't shake other mobs off me so I'm always ended up dead regardless ... I'm a ranger btw

Nobody ever said to bring mending! :@
But yes, it is possible to avoid the mantids at the start (without hench).

I just did a four minute run with an R/Mo. Holy Veil, Escape, Dodge, Stormchaser and Antidote Signet, with WS 16, Exp 13. I wiped out at the beginning due to too much mantis aggro, however. Henchies were on the ball enough to res me and I resumed my run from there.

I've been running this supply quest for two weeks, now, average run is just under 4 minutes for me. I am very skeptical of the 2 minute claim posted; I call B.S.
Now that this is posted, I'll have to get 36K faction fast, before this quest is hit with the nerfbat. Nice guide, Haggard.

Very fun run...but a 2 min run i highly doubt! a 3 min run is alread stretching it. I take henchies so i can just run the first half without worrying and have them die off while i run the last half by myself.

I doubt this will get nerfed, its not what youd call easy (except to seasoned haxxors like ourselves).

I've tried this run with my monk and warrior, as of now I think I warriors are a little faster, but monks are alot easier.
My monk build is:
----------------
Divine favor:16
Wilderess survival:12
skills
------------------
Watchful Spirit
Blessed Aura
Blessed sig
Purge conditions
Spell breaker
Dodge
Storm Chaser
Serpents Quickness
Armor
-----------------
60AL(+10 encht)
Weapons(not used in this run)
-----------------------------------
Katana: armor +5, enery +5
Div symbol: armor +5(encht), health +45(enchnt)
Its fairly easy to run. This build is designed for 30~45s bursts of uptime.
Just remember to use serpents before SB and Stormchaser. The time reduction from serpents allows you to do two continuous SBs if needed, and allows for Storm-Dodge-Storm chained together
And the keep in mind the purpose of Watchful spirit is simial to endure pain. Simply disenchant it if your hp gets too low.

Great guide Experience is really key in this run because as you learn the spawn spots and the timing it becomes relatively easy. I'm doing runs at aprox 3mins so i guess 2 mins is possible.

I am also sceptical of the under 2 mins claim, have done the run myself with only 3 skills on my bar, charge, sprint and balanced stance. That is the bare minimum needed for this run. Of course, it takes a few runs to get the neccessary experience to be able to do it my way with just 3 skills, but its easy enough to master. A perfect run involves you not even needing a heal at all thoughout the run and the only heals you do get comes from the final shrine npc priest heh. Also mind freeze does not matter if you alternate between charge and sprint, and stay at a 25% speed boost throughout the run, you will be away from the luxon eles while they are still giving their dumb speech on running away. Traps too are easily avoided if you just watch where the ranger is and avoid his general area and his spirits. I have managed to clock runs under 3 mins but for someone to claim to be able to do it UNDER 2 mins, i would like to see a video of that.

Yes, I too call codswallop on the 2 minute claim. I think it was a little exaggerated..

Usually, but sometimes they can still get you.
ANYWAY! Here it is folks! Teh map you've all been waiting for!
I wouldn't suggest you use it for navigation, considering ive scrawled all over it with a rainbow. If you're really sad, try and spot the red dots I've airbrushed out! (I was testing Hocksters build and died)
